Ostomy/Ileostomy care and management

As a (CWOCN) Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse, Linda Cox has over 10 years of experience in product knowledge, education and application. She is being utilized by many surgeons in education and marketing before and after surgery.

Lymphedema Program

Treatment of Lymphedema / edema of upper and lower extremeties. With the help of a Certified Lymphedema Specialist, our program has seen a lot of success in reducing the swelling, edema and pain of Lymphedema.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

We use HBOT medicine in expediting the the healing of wounds as an adjunct therapy. In working with so many different types of wounds we feel that HBOT is crucial to complete healing.

As a Medicare approved clinic, we are able to assist patients in skilled Nursing Facilities without the centers being held financially responsible. We are not considered part of the 'bundled payment' program. If you have any questions regarding this, please call our office and speak with the administrator.

IV Infusion Suite

Advanced Wound Care provides an experienced IV Infusion team for your Antibiotic Infusion needs. We are Medicare approved for these services as well.

Our Medical Providers are:

Sherman B. Johnson, MD, FCCWS, Medical Director

Dr. Johnson has over 8 years of wound care clinical experience in conjunction with hyperbaric medicine. He and his wife, Janis have 7 children and 15 grandchildren. He enjoys boating, skiing and his family.

Linda Cox, APRN, FNP, CWOCN

As a Certified Wound Care Specialist for over 18 years and a background in Ostomy Care. Linda loves to teach, and share herknowledge with others. Her hobbies are: teaching, reading, crafts and her 6 grandchildren.
