Why would a person need antibiotic infusion therapy services?
Advanced Wound Care provides infusion (intravenous) therapies in a homey setting instead of going to the hospital infusion clinic or being hospitalized. We provide many specialty medications for debilitating diseases, infections, pneumonia, etc.
In providing these antibiotics in our Infusion suite, Medicare will pay for the services and drug where as in the 'actual home’ setting, Medicare will not pay for the antibiotic. It becomes a private pay issue for most patients.
