Our ostomy clinic provides a full range of services for patients with a stoma, including colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy. Certified wound care nurses are available for assessment and treatment of peristomal skin problems, stomal complications, appliance issues, post teaching and routine care.
As a Specialist in Ostomy care, Linda has been
educating and helping patients with their Ostomy/Ileostomy/Colonoscopy care for over 20 years. She has been teaching the patients and their families how to ‘properly’ take care of stomal / peristomal problems. She helps "fit" the patient with appropriate and proper bag kits. She loves to educate the patient on how to continue to live a normal, effective and prosperous life going forward.
Her education encompasses: Principles of Rehabilitation, Management Complex Stomal and Peristomal Problems and Maintenance of Skin Integrity while dealing with stomal / peri-stomal problems.
